GAME DESIGNERS HAVE MORE FUN
I know this, because my first job in the video game industry was as an artist.5 Back in those 16-bit days, video game artists drew images with pixels. There are several great 16-bit artists, like Paul Robertson and the teams that made the Metal Slug and classic Capcom fighting games; but for me, drawing pictures out of pixels is like drawing with bathroom tiles.
