Adding a Master Slide to the Theme

You will now add a new Master Slide to the theme. You will name it Content and insert another image onto it:

  1. Still in the Master Slide view of the Chapter06/themeMaker.cptx file, use the Master Slide panel to select the Title Master Slide.
  2. Use the Insert | Content Master Slide menu item to insert a new Master Slide in the project.

The new Master Slide is inserted as Master Slide number 2. Note that this new slide inherits the elements of the Main Master Slide by default. You will now give a name to this Master Slide and import another image.

  1. Select the newly inserted Master Slide in the Master Slide panel and look at the Properties inspector.
  2. At the very top of the Properties inspector, enter Content in the Name field and hit the Enter key to validate this.

Note that the new name also appears below the Master Slide thumbnail in the Master Slide panel.
