Importing Question Slides from a GIFT file

GIFT stands for General Import Format Technology. A GIFT file is a text file, which allows you to use a simple text editor to write various types of questions. Such a text file can then be imported into any GIFT-compliant eLearning application and system, making it easy to share question banks across these systems.

Captivate offers the ability to import GIFT files into your projects. Thanks to this feature, you can import into Captivate questions that were originally created in another GIFT-compliant application. Note that Captivate can only import GIFT files created in other systems, but it cannot export the Question Slides of a Quiz into a GIFT file.
