Removing unwanted popups

In your Video Demo projects, you have the ability to remove unwanted popups and tooltips that were captured during the recording.

In the Chapter09/encoderVideo_Start.cpvc project, there is such a tooltip between the 00:49 and the 00:51 mark in the Timeline panel. You will now remove this unwanted tooltip using the following steps:

  1. Use the Timeline panel to place the red playhead around the 00:49 mark.
  2. Use the Play/Pause icon at the bottom-left corner of the Timeline panel to spot the exact timing where the unwanted tooltip appears and disappears.
  3. When done, place the playhead at the point on the Timeline that the tooltip appears on the screen.
  4. Turn your attention to the Video Effects panel.

Remember that the Video Effects panel is tied to the Properties inspector. It may therefore be necessary to open the Properties inspector to access the Video Effects panel. Also remember that the Video Effects panel contains options that are specific to...
