Summary

In this chapter, you have explored different options to capture screens and edit object properties. Your main concern was to adjust the content during or after the recording process to produce the required final recording dimensions.

While experiencing each of these approaches, you uncovered three important features of Captivate: Full Motion Recording (FMR), Panning, and responsive capture.

You also discovered that Captivate has four automatic recording modes, that is, Demonstration, Assessment Simulation, Training Simulation, and a Custom mode that is yours to create. Each of these automatic recording modes adds Text Captions and other objects to the slides.

The System Audio feature allowed you to capture application and system sound effects. You also learned how to edit the styles and properties of objects.

In the next chapter, you will learn how to record a Video Demo and generate an .mp4 video file that can be uploaded to YouTube.
