Working with Partial Scoring

In this particular example, the first question is complete. But, sometimes, you'll need a more sophisticated Multiple Choice with multiple correct answers. Fortunately, Captivate has an option that allows the Multiple Choice question to accept multiple correct answers. You will now experiment with this feature by performing the following steps:

  1. Return to the Chapter07/takeTheTrain.cptx project.
  2. Use the Filmstrip to go to slide 24.
  3. Select the Multiple Answers checkbox in the topmost section of the Quiz inspector.

On the Question Slide, this action changes the radio buttons associated with each possible answer to checkboxes. You can now tell Captivate what the right answers are.

  1. On the Question Slide, select any three answers out of the four available. (Remember that in this example, what you need is a single correct answer, so this exercise is made for demonstration purposes only. The actual answers you select are therefore not important).
