Applying styles automatically

Imagine the style that's currently applied to the title placeholders of slide 1 and slide 2 is the one you want to apply to every slide title throughout the project. You could browse each slide one by one and manually apply the new style to each and every title. But there's another, more automated, way:

  1. Make sure you are on slide 2 of the Chapter06/styles.cptx file.
  2. Use the Slide | Content Slide icon on the Toolbar to add a third slide to the project.
  3. Repeat the preceding operation three more times.

You should now have six slides in your project. The first slide uses the Title Master Slide. The remaining five are using the Content 03 Master Slide. Your goal is to apply the DiDaXo-MainTitle style to every slide title throughout the project. However, so far, only the first two slides are correctly using this style.

  1. Use the Filmstrip to navigate to slide 3 and select the title slide placeholder.
