Styling the titles

In this section, you will return to the Title Master Slide of the Theme and modify the formatting of the Title Smart Shape using the following steps:

  1. Still in the Master Slide view of the Chapter06/themeMaker.cptx file, use the Master Slide panel to select the Title Master Slide.
  2. Select the Double click to add title placeholder.

A placeholder object, such as the one you just selected, is a special object used to predefine the size, location, and styling properties of a future Captivate object. You will now use this placeholder to predefine the look and feel of the future titles of the future Captivate projects that will use this particular theme.

The Properties inspector of the selected Title Placeholder shows the same properties as a Smart Shape. This is because the Title Placeholder is based on a Smart Shape object. This means that all of the features and flexibility offered by Smart Shapes are available to the Title Placeholder.
