In this chapter, your project took on a whole new dimension. With the addition of multimedia elements, your eLearning is much more fun and dynamic to look at, and your message is more powerful than ever.

You first learned how to import external animations into your project. These can be animated .gif files animations, or HTML5 animations packaged in .oam files. These animated items are created using external applications, such as Adobe Animate CC or Adobe Photoshop CC.

You also learned how to insert video files into your course module. You can insert them as Event Videos or as Slide Videos. Captivate lets you import various types of video files, but will always convert them to .mp4 videos upon publishing.
