Importing external assets into the Library

Now, you will import the final audio files. You could select each slide of the project and import the new audio files one by one, but the Library gives you a better way. Using the following steps, you will import the audio files into the project and associate them with the corresponding slides:

  1. In the chapter04/takeTheTrain.cptx file, make sure the Library panel is open.
  2. Click the second icon on the Library toolbar. This icon is named Import.
  3. Browse to the Chapter04/audio folder of the downloaded exercises and select all the .wav files it contains.
  4. Click the Open button and let Captivate import the selected audio files into the Library panel.
  5. When the import process is finished, you will see a message that 18 items has been successfully imported. Click OK to acknowledge the message.
