The supported file types in the Content library

In order to add files inside the Content library, they should have one of the following extensions:

  • .pdf
  • .jpg
  • .gif
  • .png
  • .ppt
  • .pptx
  • .swf
  • .flv
  • .html
  • .htm
  • .mp3
  • .mp4
  • .f4v

In addition to the listed file formats, you can also upload a ZIP file with specific content. The ZIP files that can be uploaded to the Content library can contain the following formats:

  • A ZIP file with .html content
  • A ZIP file with .swf content
  • A ZIP file with single .pdf content

If you try to upload a file having an unsupported extension, the Invalid File Format message will be displayed. Now we can proceed to our next step and teach you how to upload content to the Content library.
