ZBrush 4 Sculpting for Games: Beginner's Guide
By :
In this chapter, we'll learn more about ZBrush's core feature — the sculpting. Starting with the rough model of the spooky tree of the last chapter, we'll now go ahead and detail it. We will learn more about the most important brushes for sculpting and how we can use subdivisions to add all the details we need.
We'll cover in detail:
The sculpting interface
Choosing the right material for sculpting
Sculpting in ZBrush (in particular the Standard, Smooth, Move, and Inflat brush)
Controlling our brushes with the Draw Size, Z Intensity, and Focal Shift settings
Hiding parts of the mesh to concentrate on specific areas
Working with subdivisions
Adding fine surface details to the tree
