Cloth and Spline Dynamics – clothesline

Cloth and Spline Dynamics are two other dynamic options we have inside Cinema 4D. Cloth does exactly what you would expect: it simulates the unique way the clothing and fabrics behave. It can be used to create garments, flags, tablecloths, blankets, basically just about anything you'd find in the laundry hamper. Spline Dynamics comes with the Hair module and can create things such as swinging ropes and chains, by setting up realistic behaviors for how simple splines would hang, dangle, or tighten when interacting with other objects and forces. This recipe will combine the two dynamic objects, and you'll create a clothesline that has a nice, flowing sheet hanging from it.
