Cinema 4D R14 features better upgraded results with Subsurface Scattering. This effect is used to create slightly transparent materials that can both scatter and absorb light across the object that it is applied to. It allows light to pass through certain parts of the object, the thinner areas, to give the effect that the material isn't 100% opaque. This effect will help create a variety of realistic-looking materials. We are going to use Subsurface Scattering to create two materials: porcelain for some bathroom fixtures and wax for some candles.
