The power of multi-pass rendering lies in the ability to generate several separate files filled with useful information from just one actual render. We can set Cinema 4D to output all sorts of different channels that we want control of in the compositing stage, and by having them as separate images we have all the flexibility we'll need to enhance our image. In the last recipe, we set up two object buffers with our Compositing tags, but there's plenty more to configure for our multi-pass render.
