The vehicle dummies mimic the movements of several types of vehicles and make our life easier! All we have to do is attach the real prop to the dummy, choose the appropriate command, then click a place in the workspace for the dummy to move to.
The following image displays the available vehicle dummies in iClone starting with the car, helicopter, plane, and arrow:
Car |
The car dummy mimics a car's movement including turning corners or turning around. It has Move Forward and Move Backward commands available. |
Helicopter |
The helicopter dummy moves like a helicopter without us having to animate that movement. It has a Move Stationary command where the dummy moves in one spot, such as rotating or turning and the standard Move Forward command where the dummy tilts like a helicopter and moves off. |
Plane |
This mimics the smooth flight of an airplane that banks on the turns and has a Move Forward command available. The banking can be a bit quick but it's a good start like other iClone helpers. |
Arrow |
The arrow dummy has two Move Forward and Move Backward commands available and travels smoothly to the selected location. |
Note
Vehicle Dummies will not make assets like tires, propellers, or blades spin. They mimic the movement of the vehicle, not the vehicle parts themselves. There are other individual dummies and helpers available from Reallusion and content developers, in addition to the stock dummies we have covered here.
