In this chapter, you learned about how to support a cross-cloud application development life cycle and how to do cross-cloud environment planning not just for production but at each stage of the life cycle.

Building on this, you learned how point-to-point connectors play a key role in B2C solution architecture and what the three Salesforce provided connectors support natively. Specifically, you should now be able to describe the capabilities of B2C CRM Sync, Marketing Cloud Connect, and the Commerce and Marketing Connector. You should know that Marketing Cloud Connect is the only one of the three that is a productized solution and that the other two are development frameworks that will need to be integrated and customized by a developer. The Salesforce Order Management and B2C Commerce integration is another example of a productized connector between platforms.
