Segmenting tools

We’ll be using the word segment in two different ways. The first is perhaps the most literal way, the action of breaking or identifying a subset of your contacts, and the second is to refer to the abstract object we create in your audience. When we save a segment we create, we’ll still refer to that subset as a segment.

Segmenting is the application of all of this prep work and what makes this juice worth the squeeze. By setting specific logic within a segment, we can use both data the audience members provide you with and the actions those contacts take in response to your campaigns to better understand what engages them.
